ayoub made me think about it, and because I've always had a not-so-secret desire to be a lexicographer, I pose the following question:
If there were to be a dictionary ofgnomi-isms, what words would it contain?
Off the top of my head, I can think of:
-- Splorp (that which inspired this line of thought)
-- Narf
-- Thingy
-- Obnox
-- Enpenguinate
Additionalgnomi-isms:
-- Horfles (suggested bymabfan)
-- Procrastisurfing (suggested bytsuki_no_bara)
-- Snackquisition (suggested bybeths_stanley)
-- Pornucopia (suggested bybeths_stanley)
But then I get stuck. I know there are many words in my idiolect that are specificallygnomi-isms, but I have no idea what they are. So I bring it to you. What should go in the Dictionary of gnomi-isms?
