I'll get back to the requested rants/raves soon, but first an unsolicited (but short) one:

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! People who take illegal turns when I clearly have a walk light just so they can park in the bus stop. It's bad enough that there are still enough snow banks that making myself visible to the bus is a challenge. But someone parking their big honkin' SUV in the bus stop just makes it worse.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

In my business, people pay lots of money not only for commissioned rants and raves, but even for precise documentation of the rants and raves of others. ;-)

Also, your rants and raves are appealing in their relative civility. They sound much different in my home state (and not just due to regional accents or vernacular). Maybe the critters in the tap water are to blame for this phenomenon.
