Paying the Stupid Tax
Well, I paid my monthly Stupid tax this morning. I was glancing at the headlines in the Brookline TAB this morning as I crossed the (quiet at 6:40 AM) street ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mabfan and I live on, and as I reached the opposite side, the toe of my sandal caught on a slightly raised bit of driveway pavement and down I went, *boom!* onto my outer left calf. I'm pretty decently bruised and scraped where I landed, but am otherwise fine. As was my handheld, as it was in the pocket opposite the one I fell on (I fell on my wallet. Not a big problem).
And that gets this month's Stupid tax out of the way. So now I'm good until September. :-)
