Interesting Obituary in Today's Boston Globe

Today's Boston Globe ran an obituary for Ruth Greenglass, who died in April but whose death was just recently uncovered.

Ruth Greenglass was the wife of David Greenglass and the sister-in-law of Ethel Rosenberg. Greenglass was living under an assumed name, and her death would not have become public had it not been for a FOIA filing by historians doing research on the Rosenberg trial and execution.

The New York Times had it earlier in the week; guess they watch each other.

Thanks so much for posting this. My grandparents were neighbors of the Rosenbergs (& presumably the Greenglasses) in Knickerbocker Village, and my father went to summer camp with the Rosenberg/Meeropol kids after their parents' execution.

In fact, it was my 11th grade history project, interviewing my grandparents' friends about the trial & life during McCarthyism, that launched the career I'm still in.
