There's No Business Like Snow Business

[livejournal.com profile] mabfan wrote this week's The Brookline Parent column, titled Snow Thanks, I'll Wait for Summer."

And now it's snowing again. More for Muffin and Squeaker to admire.

You have snow in Brookline? Here in the Back Bay it hasn't started yet. *crossing fingers for safe, non-slippery commute*

Just a couple of flakes have been reported as falling in Brookline Village. It's still early; the commute should be OK.

Thank you, and please thank mabfan, for these columns. I've just read several and they make it much easier to parent my two at the moment with something closer to patience. Which was much needed.

Also, you broke the cute meter.

I wonder what would happen if you brought in a pan or bucket of snow and let them play inside. I can imagine being overwhelmed by new, restrictive clothing, cold air, outdoorsiness, and weird white stuff all at once. But I may be projecting, because I fear new things.

Also, many repetitions of snow-themed books seem like a good idea.
