1: they don't drive me batty so much as I don't actually notice that often.

2: "We are family" should be the ring tone of all your GLBT identified friends. Just saying. Bio-family should be given an appropriate ring tone if they've earned it. Otherwise they only get the regular one.

I have the theme from Buckaroo Banzai for anyone who is taking care of my kid, or any contractor who is taking care of my house. It gives the proper "spring into action" feel to the call.

I think you would do well to adopt the theme from the "Wonder Woman" TV show.

majordomo has "Carry On Wayward Son" for when his parents call.

When I call, it's "Martha My Dear." Once we were at a party, sitting next to someone who has a teenage daughter named Martha. We're happily talking when we hear the opening strains of "Martha My Dear" and majordomo starts to answer his phone but then we look at each other because I'm sitting right there.. and then we realize that the phone we're hearing belongs to the woman sitting next to us.

I find people tend to not include the apostrophe, and the need to write "it is" occurs much more often than "something belonging to an inanimate object or an animal"
