More 50bookchallenge books:

#43 Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella: The adventures (and misadventures) of a mid-twenties shopaholic in Britain who can't keep her spending under control. It's the first in a series, and it was quite entertaining. I've just started the second in the series, hoping the romp-feeling of the first one continues.

#44 Challenge for a Throne: The Wars of the Roses by Franklin Hamilton: A comprehensive history of the British monarchy from Richard II through Henry VI. Well researched, very well written, but accessible to those who are not students of history. I was sufficiently impressed by this book that I plan to read Hamilton's The Crusades, as well.

#45 Rules of the Game by Nora Roberts
#46 The Name of the Game by Nora Roberts
: Two more early Roberts books, from 1984 and 1988, respectively. Not particularly intellectually challenging, but a good break from heavier reading.

#47 Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde
#48 The Well of Lost Plots by Jasper Fforde
: The second and third books in his series featuring Thursday Next. Lost in a Good Book picks up almost immediately where The Eyre Affair the first in the series leaves off. And The Well of Lost Plots continues the adventures started in Lost in a Good Book. These books are a lot of fun and very well written. They should be read in order, however, as there's an assumption that you know what's happened in previous books.
