gnomiLast night, mabfan and I attended Cafe Scientifique sponsored by New Scientist magazine to hear Max Tegmark. During the Q&A portion of the evening, one attendee asked Professor Tegmark to talk about dark matter. Prof. Tegmark began his thoughts on the subject with the statement "Dark matter is our friend."
mabfan leaned over. "Dark matter is your friend," he whispered to me.
I replied,
