Busy but productive weekend
Sep. 2nd, 2002 05:53 pmThis Labor Day weekend has been remarkably productive. Here it is Monday night and so far MAB and I have (either singly or together, though mostly together):
-- Spent Friday night and Saturday with my parents
-- Built a bookcase
-- Gotten MAB ready for the first day of classes
-- Mailed out 85 copies of our new fanzine
-- Seen friends for dinner
-- Done some writing
...all of which are good things to have done. I always fear that I'll spend long weekends sitting in front of the TV like a slug when there were more important things to be done. I don't know why, but we were quite motivated to do stuff this weekend, which resulted in us getting much accomplished. This is, in my mind, a Good Thing.
Now I just hope that the coming work week will prove to be as productive.
