Tuesday Morning Rambly Bits
Mar. 21st, 2006 10:50 am-- I'm pondering changing my response to the question, "What do you do for a living?" I usually answer "I'm a technical writer and freelance editor." I'm considering going with "I'm a doc worker."

mabfan and I were watching a NOVA episode about neutrinos. They start talking about how if John Bahcall is correct, there must be something wrong with the Standard Model. The following conversation occurred:
gnomi: It's only the Standard Model.
mabfan: Sh.
-- It's been in the 20s and 30s this week. Later this week, it'll be in the 60s (they say). Last week was in the 40s, mostly. Definitely early spring in Boston. In this area, March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lion. Unless it doesn't.
-- Is 10:30 too early in the morning to eat a brownie?
-- The calendar I have on my cube wall at work has myriad holidays listed. It does not have Tu B'Shvat, but it does have Lag B'Omer.
