Maybe we've all imagined you?

That probably says good things about us, collectively.

Not sure what it says about [livejournal.com profile] mabfan, but the next time you have a spat, you can say, "Hey, it's all your fault, you imagined me this way!"

*Is silly and overcaffinated*

There are really 61 people with my name?

That's creepy. I'm not sure I believe that.

That's okay. Apparently my brother doesn't exist either.

Apparently there are 10 Lisa Felds. Now, the question is, are they all me, or are none of them me? I could have all sorts of awesome Dark Phoenix clones walking around!

See, it said there was 1 of me, but I know there are more. I mean, not more of me, exactly, but...

Neither does Batya. And I am apparently the only me. Which I know not to be true, based on the times I've Googled myself.

There are 17 of me, which seems 16 too many.

It says that not only are there 0 other Gilanas in the US, there are 0 other Rosenthols. I'm pretty sure I know a few... unless my whole family has been lying to me...

There are 1,076 of me.

I'm surprised, actually.

There should be more.

There are no people in the US with the same first name as my son. Which is not exactly right. *eyeroll* There are, however, 19 of me. Damn it.

There may be 19 people with your name, but there is *definitely* only one you!

There are 5 of me. Which, given the massive popularity of my first name and the relative multiculturalness of my last name, seems low. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure that 1 of the 5 is a very distant cousin (distant enough that my folks didn't know, when they named me Jessica, that there was already a Jessica in my generation).

(Actually there are two other Jessicas in my generation in my family, but the other one has a different last name.)

There are 160 of me!!!!

I'm planning a reunion.

two of us are apparently writers, me and someone who writes for the village voice.

Many, many of us apparently are fundamentalist home schoolers in Alabama, Missouri, and other states in the deep south.

Should be one big whiz bang of a party, if I do say so myself. I'm gonna phone for the beer truck now.

While the thing is currently down, it came up with about 5 thousand matches to my name last time the meme went around. This is why my culture has elaborate middle name schemes formally taken as non-legal names at adulthood :) Ask me in person and I'll tell you my full name. I may have already in a discussion about names and dead relatives. It honors both 2+ dead saints and 4+ dead relatives, while remaining unique (hopefully).

It might not be unique. There's another person with my first last combination living in Cambridge, and since I keep getting her reserved public library books by accident, she may have chosen the same symbolic middle name compound at 16 for personality reasons (patron saint of scientific research and research into many laguages in the interest of communication). I have no way to find out, and this kinda bugs me in both a philosphical and pragmatic way.

But it hasn't becme a pragmatic issue yet, so I'm gonna ignore it.
