-- We have a new stove! Woo-hoo! Guys came and installed it last night. It has some issues I'll have to learn to deal with (it's a yom tov problem, but I'm adaptable), but such is life. I'm just glad to have an oven that comes up to temperature. It's the little things, y'know?

-- I learned something new at the eye doctor last night. The drops that they use to dilate your eye work by binding to the protein (I think she said) that colors the stroma in the iris. For this reason, people who have lighter-colored eyes take less time to dilate and un-dilate.

-- I was fascinated by the results of my most recent YALP. I had expected that people who prefered the uppercase T in T-shirt would prefer the uppercase V in V-neck. But this turned out not to be the case, necessarily.

-- It's still cold. But we're over 20 degrees (F), so that's progress.

-- Today's Rhymes with Orange made me laugh out loud.

-- The HVAC in my office is bizarre. Today it's cold in my part of the floor and warmer on the other end, but this is reversed from the usual case. My fingers are cold, so I'm typing quickly to warm them up.

-- Now that I've finished an ongoing knitting project that I've been working on for a while, I need another big project to do, I think (not that I don't have 5 or 6 WIPs on needles that I have to deal with, but I have an urge to cast on something new). Maybe I'll make myself a top-down raglan sweater. Or, well, finish some of my WIPs.

If you need any coaching -- I've made several top-down sweaters and perhaps I have some relevant experience. But as I've found top-down to be the easiest way to make them, and you're quite the experienced knitter, perhaps not!

For some reason, I was blanking on the expansion of HVAC and my mind came up with "Heating V'Air Conditioning". Does this mean I've been in Israel too long?

Yay for the new stove! Does it have an auto-shutoff? I hate those...

And, do you know whether RWO has a feed somewhere? I always forget to read it, otherwise.
