Scene: [personal profile] mabfan is reading comic books. [personal profile] gnomi is writing.

[personal profile] mabfan: I can't believe they're ending this book in two more issues!

[personal profile] gnomi: mmm... [continues typing]

[personal profile] mabfan: [sighs] Did you hear? They've stopped making yarn!

[personal profile] gnomi: [looks up] Huh? What? I was paying attention! They're ending that book after two more issues!

Good to know it's not just us.

Tonight? I eked out 422 words. But I'm just getting back my writing brain after the upheaval of the past month, so I figure any wordcount is good.

I have many, many words that might be useful to you, though they weren't of any use to me tonight.

You know what? 422 words that you're happy with is a very good thing. :D

True enough.

And now the file's back in [personal profile] eal's hands, so that is a good thing, too. :-)

Is it "Next Wave"? I know that's ending soon, and it makes me all sad.

yes, it is in my hands. The good thing part is debatable. :)

I'm planning to add one sentence to something I already wrote on it and then we'll see if we can't finish this off with this pass :)

Never read it, but it always sucks to loose a comic. I think DC's on a "cleaning house" spree. They canned "The Boys" after issue 6 because they suddenly realized the superheroes in it were caricatures of their own stable.
