A Weather-and-Knitting Related Poll

So, while working on a sweater (out of stash yarn) for the baby of a friend, I decided the yarn was knitting up too girly-looking for the baby boy. So the girly one will go to the new girl-baby of a different friend, and I'll get new yarn for the other baby's sweater. I'm almost done with the girl sweater, so I need new yarn for the new sweater. But it's *cold*. And so, I poll:

I hope that by the time you go out, if you go out, it's not as cold as it seems to be now. I miss my yarn stores, but I have to knit up more of my stash before I have room for more yarn. *g*

You know what they say (I've heard it about Minnesota and Scandavia): "There's no such think as bad weather, only bad clothing".

In other words if you live in an area with extreme weather, you learn how to deal with it and get on with your life!

My fondest memories of grad school are walking across the Quad in a very gentle snow fall, my jacket open, eating a dish of Herrell's chocolate pudding ice cream. Sheer bliss.

Ha. MY family was lined up at the original Steve's location in Somerville the day that they lifted the State of Emergency in '78.

We went after dim sum. And, yes, there was a line!
