#49 Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella: Sequel to Confessions of a Shopaholic. This book follows the adventures of Becky Bloomwood as she follows her boyfriend Luke to New York and deals with the combined pressures of living with her boyfriend and adapting to life in the US. As fun as the first of the series.
#50 The Wild Blue: The Men and Boys Who Flew the B-24s Over Germany 1944-45 by Stephen E. Ambrose: Recommended by
gypsiewriter when I posted about having read Band of Brothers. I very much enjoyed this book, which follows the squadron of Army Air Force pilots of which George McGovern was a member. Ambrose's descriptions are extremely vivid, pulling the reader into the action. Highly recommended.

* "memorizing" just doesn't seem right, somehow.
