gnomiOK, well not all about you, but something about you.
I have a rather eclectic group of folks here, many of whom, I think, have things in common but that have never met. And I've been recently reminiscing about those "getting to know you" games we used to play in Young Judaea and other assorted venues*, so...here's your opportunity: Introduce yourself. Tell us something about yourself.
(This isn't at all mandatory...it was inspired by the realization that my friends from various parts of my life would actually likely get along if given the opportunity to meet.)
* The subject of icebreaker games came up at a party recently because I was meeting new people whose names I was almost positive I wasn't going to remember (I'm horrible with names). So I told the story of my first night in Jerusalem with Year Course. We had to go around the room and say our names, where we were from, and something about ourselves. So I said my name, where I was from, and the something I chose was that I don't remember names and that people would have to introduce themselves 4-5 times before their name would stick. After this, we had an ice cream social kind of thing, and we were milling around meeting folks. Four or five times during the course of the evening, a guy came up to me, said, "Hi, my name is Jared," and walked away. I had no trouble remembering his name.
(the other story I tell from that night is that one girl introduced herself as "Hi, I'm (so and so) and I'm from Temple, Texas." The next person, who was known for being something of a goof, said, "Hi, I'm (such and such), and I'm from Temple Beth El."

Date: 2005-03-18 08:23 pm (UTC)I'm a pharmaceutical auditor in Union, New Jersey, and we live in Edison. I'm a songwriter, and I'm right now recording my music. I'm 5'7" and have pointy hair, allergies to cats, and many of my clothes are green.
I like driving, reading, drawing, music, and turtles.
