My default for Aaron and Erin is /'E r@n/ (first vowel same as in "fair"), but I understand that some people named Aaron pronounce it /'& r@n/ (first vowel same as in "path"). I'm also aware that this is an Americanism, and that in RP (e.g., on the BBC) both vowels are different, since RP distinguishes completely unstressed /I/ from /@/. (Also, that in RP, Mary and marry are pronounced the same as each other, but differently than merry.)
