-- Since last night, I've been doing some research on expletive infixation. Will I be posting about this in the future? Abso-frackin'-lutely.

-- Am I the only one who knows the song "88 Lines About 44 Women"? I want to reference it just by title in a story I'm writing, but I'm afraid it's too obscure. Opinions?

-- Between 12:00 and 1:30 this afternoon, I completely randomly ran into 2 individuals I haven't seen in a while. I wonder if it's the nice weather bringing people out to places where I can run into them. ([personal profile] farwing, one of them was a friend of yours. [personal profile] vettecat, you know the other one)

-- You are all wonderful, amazing, silly, thoughtful, intelligent, warm, and loving people who add so much to my life. Thank you, one and all, for all that you bring to my corner of the universe.

-- Also, one of you kind and brilliant folks made this icon, and I have no clue who (alas, I forgot to note it when I downloaded it originally). If you recognize it as your handiwork or as the work of someone else, please let me know so that I can credit appropriately.

-- Today is the 45th day of the Omer and is Rosh Chodesh Sivan.

I've heard the song. Or maybe I've heard of the song. I certainly wouldn't recognize any lyrics from it, but I'm aware that there's song that's something like that.

-Nif-frickin'-tay. Though that link is broken.

-Yah, I own that song, and have considered writing a pastiche or two of it.

You must've clicked just as I was finishing -- I switched links when I discovered that the link to the PDF was broken.

I know the song... I even wrote a personal version of it back in the day, albeit with fewer verses (thanks be!) and less gender-specificity.

I'm familiar with the song, and would expect other people who like obscure 90s song (or who were listening to "alternative" (KROQ, WFNX) radio at the time) to recognize it. It was used as a theme for a mystery hunt puzzle within the last five years, so it was considered to be recognizable to puzzlers. I'd call it slightly obscure.

i know of the song and i think i've heard it, though i don't know it well enough to quote. but i think it's familiar enough that it would make a fine title... and i feel like even for someone who hasn't heard of the song, it would still be decent as title.

You are not the only one who knows that song, but as we grew up in the same town, in the same years, and listened to the same radio stations, I am not a good sample.

My son was very excited that yesterday was the 44th day aka MuD B'Omer. Anything to do with mud is exciting, apparently.

Glad you're so happy today. So am I. :)

I know the song quite well, and had segments memorized for a time.

Expletive infixation is the shiz-freakin'-nit. Just sayin'...
