Sounds great to me!

How was the march, BTW?

It was wonderful. It's a National Geographic-funded movie, so it has some of the less-than-beautiful realities of the life of penguins (such as partially-hatched eggs freezing to death and the natural predators of penguins catching them when they are trying to feed), but it was an absolutely gorgeous movie. I highly recommend it.

Platypuses, not platypi.

I know that "platypuses" is the more standard, but "platypi" is an alternate. From Merriam-Webster Online (www.m-w.com):

One entry found for platypus.

Main Entry: platy·pus
Pronunciation: 'pla-ti-p&s, -"pus
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural platy·pus·es also platy·pi /-"pI, -"pE/
Etymology: New Latin, from Greek platypous flat-footed, from platys broad, flat + pous foot -- more at PLACE, FOOT
: a small carnivorous aquatic oviparous mammal (Ornithorhynchus anatinus) of eastern Australia and Tasmania that has a fleshy bill resembling that of a duck, dense fur, webbed feet, and a broad flattened tail

And I happen to prefer "platypi" when not in a formal document or setting.

Well, if Merriam-Webster lists it, it must be fairly widely used. And for a joke title, I'm not going to raise a fuss, and wouldn't expect other people to raise fi.

But that plural comes out of sheer pretentiousness, by people who don't realize that "platypus" comes from Greek and not Latin words. Likewise for "octopus."
