Metro-Boston Area Folk: Anyone Want Canning Jars?

So, my Ima informs me that she has close on 60 unused (never used) canning jars, and she'd like them to be somewhere other than in her basement. Said basement is in Burlington, MA. And she said to me, "Do you know anyone who might want them?" And I said, "I don't know, but I can ask." And therefore, I ask.

It would be great if whoever wanted them was willing to go out to Burlington and get them (I can give directions out to Chez Parental Units from just about anywhere in Massachusetts at this point). If that's not possible, Ima says she'd be willing to drive them in over a span of time.

So, let me know, and if someone's interested, I'll put you in touch.

She's got a mix of pint ones and quart ones (she thinks she has more pints than quarts).

I'd be up for the quarts, and would therefore take the pints if they must come together. I wouldn't actually can with them - I like the quarts for drinking mugs. If she prefers they go to someone who'd can, that's not me.

I guess imight learn to make jelly someday. But still.

She has no preference of what happens to them other than them vacating her basement. If you wanted to do alternative art with them, that would work for her as well. :-)

I don't think they have to go together, really.

In that case, hook me up. My car ought to hold them just fine. I can bring in the little ones too, if someone wants them and to make things easier for Ima...
