My bags are packed, I'm ready to go

Or, at least, I'm as ready as I can be. We're off to a science fiction convention this weekend, leaving this afternoon on a train to DC, and will be back on Sunday night. I don't think I'll have connectivity until we get back, so I won't be able to do the check-in reports I did from our New York trip. I will, however, try my best to post on Sunday when we get back.

All sorts of stuff. I'll try any author once, and I'll keep with them if I like how and what they write. Currently, I'm reading fantasy and not SF, but for SF I prefer hard SF (love them rivets). It's hard to come up with a list off the top of my head (and I must admit to being biased, being married to a hard SF writer).

What sorts of stuff do you like?

Also, just wondering - do I know you? Welcome, either way.

i saw your name through arib's posts, and you said something about shabbat. so i'm jewish and i pick up on these things.
what writer are you married to? that's really cool.
i read anything that i can, probably more fantasy than sifi. favorite authors are terry pratchett, thomas gibson. along the lines of that. if it's written well, i'll read it. i'll read just about anything. just no non-fiction. i can't get into it.
