Fulfill sentence of writing a list of five things you enjoy with some degree of guilt or embarrassment.
Pass judgment on five others, and sentence them to do the same.

1. I read romance novels. Less now than I used to, but I have a vast collection of Nora Roberts novels (the ones that used to be Silhouette lines, not her bigger, more mainstream novels) that I still add to and read when I want something I don't have to think too hard about.

2. I like Marshmallow Fluff. Not that I don't like marshmallows themselves. But there's something about Fluff and peanut butter together. Again not something I do regularly, but I do enjoy it.

3. I sometimes go days without responding to e-mail. Not just during the Jewish holidays or when I'm swamped. Sometimes I just get antisocial and stop responding to e-mail.

4. I collect usage guides, dictionaries, and compendia of slang (even in languages I don't speak). People think this makes me a big honkin' geek. But I love books about words.

5. Sometimes when I'm frustrated at work, I pit the various creatures that live in my cube against each other. I haven't yet been caught during a penguin-for-your-telly vs. Godzilla battle or Godzilla vs. Spike match, but I know one day I will.

Not tagging anyone, but people should feel free to do it if they want.

I hear that! I'm in one of those phases now, honestly.

I love romance novels - specifically "category" romance novels - Harlequins and Silhouettes. When I was younger, I bought all the lines by the boatload and read them every month. I don't do that any more, but I still have collections of my favorites (Nora Roberts, like you), Betty Neels, Essie Summers, Iris Bromige, Charlotte Lamb, um...man, I'm surprised I remember all that! I grew up on them, my Mom used to buy them by the gross, I think.

I do four out of five of those - ::snicker:: I guess there's a reason Kuroshii insisted we should meet, huh?

I'm gonna guess that the one that you don't do is #5. :-)

she doesn't work in a cubicle, true, but she's got enough creatures living around her computer/desk at home that i could see her going all Wash on them when her PC starts acting up.

i'd guess #2. but i could be wrong.

Heheheheh. Yep, the only one I don't do is play with my toys in my cubicle, because I don't have a cubicle. But I do still take play breaks, so I guess that means I do all five.

Re. #2 -- heh! I mostly only eat Fluffernutters at, believe it or not, cons. They are a con suite (or maybe it's staff den) staple. I never think about it until I get there and go, "Ooh! Fluff!"

There should be no guilt or embarrassment regarding Fluff! Fluff should be enjoyed with pride.
