NYC Update

MAB's mother's surgery was a success and she's resting comfortably, looking forward to pain-free walking. We're back at the house temporarily, but then we're off to meet some friends for dinner. Tomorrow, we hope, will include sleeping past 6 AM (which was not true of today) and then a business lunch followed by dinner with our sort-of-cousin (she's my sister's husband's father's brother's daughter).
