A bunch of unconnected good things
Oct. 12th, 2004 10:39 am-- We are re-en-fridged. Yay!
-- A good friend sent me a lovely CD right before the last holiday, and I just got a chance to listen to it this morning. It was a wonderful way to start my day.
-- Julie Kramer of WFNX Radio yesterday said that she wasn't going to say anything about the Red Sox so as to "not put a kain ayin harah" (frequently -- and by Julie -- pronounced "konnah-horrah") on the team. I'm vastly amused by DJs who use Yiddish terms effortlessly. ("Kain ayin harah" means "not to tempt the Evil Eye").
-- I have a T-Mos Coffee Caddy that allows me to make one -- count it, one -- cup of fresh-brewed coffee at a time. This pleases me immensely and, simultaneously, allows me to save money on coffee.
