Hodu Ladoshem Ki Tov*
Nov. 24th, 2004 04:37 pmI will be around less than usual over the holiday and such -- tonight, I cook. Tomorrow, we're off to my parents for the holiday. Friday, we'll be going away for shabbat. So the first time I'm likely to have significant online time again is Saturday night or Sunday morning. Therefore, I want to: wish all those celebrating American Thanksgiving tomorrow a good one; wish all of you, whether or not you're celebrating tomorrow, good health and happiness; and wish you all a good weekend.
*Literally, "Give thanks to G-d for He is good." However, the Hebrew word for turkey is "tarnegol hodu" (Indian chicken). Thus, "have turkey in G-d's name for it is good."
