Here, safe; Chickens

We're here in NYC (got here yesterday) and are running around, as is our usual pattern in this type of trip, like crazed chickens. We'll be seeing some family, some friends, and some business contacts over the next few days. I'll try to post as is possible; I know I'm behind on responding to comments, as well, but I don't think I'll really be able to catch up until we're home again (connectivity exists but is unreliable).
