Back-From-Readercon Rambly Bits

gnomiville. We've traveled the past 3 weekends. So, so, so far behind in non-work stuff it's not even funny. Slowly digging through stuff.
-- It is amusing to have gone to 2 cons in 3 weeks -- one ends up having conversations like "Oh! It's so good to see you! I haven't seen you since...two weeks ago!"
-- Last night, after Readercon,mabfan and I managed to have dinner with mamadeb and jonbaker without being derailed by illness or snowstorm. This is, for us, quite a feat. We and they and farwing had quite the lovely get-together.
-- Saw lots and lots of cool people at Readercon. The LJ folk I saw included the aforementionedmamadeb, jonbaker, and farwing, jenwrites, oracne, theodosia, batwrangler, fjm, zmook, damascene, tanaise, and madfilkentist.
-- While we were out at dinner, we ran intosethg_prime and lucretia_borgia and their kids, and then, as we were leaving, we ran into two folks that mabfan and I know from our years at BU.
-- Much as we had a wonderful time, I'm so very much looking forward to being home this shabbat. It's been quite a while, it seems.
