Post-Thanksgiving Food-Related Post
Nov. 28th, 2005 10:36 am- Cup-for-cup wheat flour substitute (Mixture II) works really well in both pumpkin bread and banana bread. People said that if they didn't know it was wheat-free, they never could've told from the taste/texture. And lcNlc loved the bonus banana bread.
- Spanish rice with tuna with Bill's Swiss Veggie Medley is a nicely balanced meal. And filling, too.
- lcNlc's brisket recipe is always wonderful. Mmm, tasty moo!
sharonaf's parents are wonderful shabbat-dinner hosts. The food was excellent, and it was lovely to see everyone and to meet
sharonaf's husband.
- Butcherie is much calmer Sunday morning after Thanksgiving than it is Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving. Not surprising, but good to have had proof.
