-- [personal profile] mabfan and I watched on TiVo-delay and fast-forwarded through some of the bits that interested us less. Good way to watch, especially for those of us who don't usually watch awards shows.

-- All through the broadcast, the synching was off. It was driving me bonkers, I must say.

-- I liked Jon Stewart as host. He kept the thing moving. Though I'm not sure the Hollywood crowd was, for the most part, ready for him.

-- I didn't really have a horse in any of the races except for Best Documentary Feature and Best Animated Feature. I was all asquee when first Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and then March of the Penguins won. And I loved the little bowties for the W&G Oscars and the giant stuffed penguins brought on stage by the Penguin guys.

-- I'm not usually one to snark about the outfits, but what was Charlize Theron thinking? Beats a butt-bow, yes, but the shoulder-bow thing reminded me too much of a Keeper. Especially when Stewart (I think it was) asked "What do you want?"

-- George Clooney is a class act. I'm just saying.

-- The show ended earlier than we anticipated. This is a good trend, in my view.

Bored...

I should be writing. I could be knitting. I could be editing.

Instead, I'm bored.

Anyone have anything entertaining to share?

(Please keep this family-friendly, as this is an unlocked post)

(If I am left to my own devices and am bored for too long, a long, rambling post about my personal idiolect may result, and that's not fun for anyone, now, is it?)
