Much like two weeks ago, I am an absolutely exhausted monkey, for almost the exact same reasons.

Last night, mabfan and I co-hosted a sheva berachot celebration with our friends S&J for our friends A&A. Much food was made; much food was put out; much food was consumed. This I consider a success. Tex-Mex sheva berachot for the win. :-)

Notes to my future self:

-- Individual strawberry shortcakes are a great idea...on paper. In practice? Too fiddly for a large group. Still, worth the fiddly bits, in general. So, maybe not for 30+ next time.
-- I need to request some of S's recipes. Oh, yes, I do.
-- Santa Fe bean salad is excellent the second day, since the flavors have a chance to blend.
