I coined a new word today for that which I do way too often:

procrastisurf: To avoid a task by surfing the Web

In fact, I'm doing it now. :-)

Related, no doubt, to "podcrastinate" meaning "to avoid a task by organizing your audio files so that you will have something good to listen to while performing said task" (it is also how I first misread *your* neologism). Its variant "podcastinate" involves compiling mixes for your f-list while you are at it.
