How Old-School Fandom Has Warped My Brain

gnomiYesterday, in observance of Memorial Day, mabfan and I went to the Brookline Memorial Day ceremony. At the end, Bill McGroarty, the director of the Department of Veterans’ Services, invited everyone to come to the VFW Post (across the street from the War Memorial, where the ceremony was held) for "a light collation."
I turned tomabfan and said, "So, what? Only 20-30 pages?"
