TEAL'C: On Chulak, a dispute between a man and a woman that cannot be resolved necessitates a pledge break. It must be requested by one and granted by the other.*

Me: "We'll return to 'Jaffa Couples' Therapy' in just a few moments. But first, help continue to make 'Jaffa Couples' Therapy' possible by making a pledge to your local public television station."

Heh.

Would it surprise you at all that my brain works like this when I'm perfectly well rested, as well?

(not denying that I need sleep; just stating the truth. :-))

No, it wouldn't surprise me, now that you mention it. ;-)

Actually, to some extent, I'm goofier when I'm more awake, or at least I'm faster on the wordplay.

Though it's a truth, universally acknowledged, that there are certain jokes that are funnier the more tired you are.

Beth and I have been known to laugh hsterically abut something in the middle of the night if we find we're both awake (something stupid like somebody burps - burps were funny when we were 12... oy) and the next morning we're like, what were we laughing at that was so funny? ;-)

Everything is funnier when you're half asleep. :D

Michael and I will set each other off like that, both of us in paroxisms of laughter, and then in the morning, or later in the week, or whatever, it's not nearly as funny. That lying-in-bed, laughing-until-you-cough thing, it can't be beat.

Somewhere i have a fan-written Klingon guide to love and marriage...I guess some problems really are universal.

Hee! Yeah, I think the Jaffa and the Klingons would have what to talk about.

If I donate $120 can I get a Jaffa staff weapon? How large of a donation does a Zat require? Or are those only available in the auction?

For some reason I'm now thinking of Christopher Judge doing do-op...or jamming with Roy Orbison.
