Here, safe, and exhausted (but happy)

MAB and I made it safely to New York at 2 AM this morning and headed
toward his mom's house and some semblance of sleep. This morining,
this afternoon, we met up with eal and
had a lovely lunch and then did some random shopping
before heading back to almost exactly where we started
in Manhattan this morning to meet friends for dinner.
So, needless to say, we're now extremely exhausted.
Sleep will happen soon.

I'll try to update again before we get home, but if not,
I wish everyone a happy and safe new year.

No photos, unfortunately (didn't bring camera to
NYC this trip; we were trying to travel as light
as possible), but I will be sure to recreate our
lunch for you in excruciating detail :-) when we
next meet, dear.
