OK, so. It's finally seeming like spring may be here for a bit. So, I've got the itch to be out and about. And I'm also in the mood to take pictures, but I don't know of what. So... give me suggestions! What, if anything, in the Nomi-verse do you want to see photos of?

(It occurs to me that I have no spring-y icons. The Sox is as close as I appear to get.)

I actually have somewhere a picture of a wooden bear in a teddy, but I guess it wouldn't be the same...

You know, I'm not usually this obnoxious. I think Spring is having a wierd effect on me.

It's actually a T-shirt I got for my dad and for [profile] beckyfeld a year or so ago. It tickled my funny bone, so I made it into an icon.

where you sit when you're on the computer (or what you see around you when you're here) - I'm really nosy and I like being able to imagine people typing away.

I like to picture that too! If I'm bringing home internet people who haven't been in my house before, I show them my laptoppy in the bedroom and say, "That's where we met."

And as for pictures, I want to see a piece of religious jewelry, if you have any.

Baseball is spring. It's the distant warmth of spring training in far off places. It's the world and numbers starting to matter as April pokes through the local snow. It's all horizons, as the stats start accumulating and forming the world for this summer. A world that can be turned on its ear still, but at the end of spring you have a small universe to react to with your own pre-existing allegences and potential for betrayal.

My sincere condolences to mabfan for the horrible freaky injuries the Yankees have been hit with already and Steinbrenner's personal trauma (ping me for the gossip).

Every year I have a backup NL team to root for in case of tragedy (this year it's the Reds. Perhaps I'm stupid for this, but they've got Bronson Arroyo as their Ace and mark Bellhorn in AAA Louisville). But for now, I'm just hoping the Red Sox aren't 10 games below .500 at the All-Star break. We're emerging from beer and mittens baseball weather. Spring is here. Let's play ball.

FYI, I'm a Mets fan, so it doesn't affect me.

You're right -- baseball is spring! :-)

As for having a backup NL team, since (as he says below) [personal profile] mabfan is a Mets fan, I root for them, except when they're playing the Sox.
