Burblings in the Musical Part of my Brain
Jun. 19th, 2007 10:49 amSometimes my mind gets caught up analyzing lyrics and the like. For instance, a couple of days ago I started to wonder how many songs on my iPod have "together" in the lyrics ("We Go Together," from the "Grease" soundtrack; "And we will all go down together" from Billy Joel's "Goodnight Saigon," etc.). And this morning, what burbled to the top was the question of how many iterations of the lyrics "Here I am..." I could think of.
Off the top of my head I came up with the following after "Here I am":
-- "Rock you like a hurricane"
-- "The one that you love"
-- "On the road again"
(then part of me thought this should be the narf question in some upcoming poll: "'Here I am': 'rock you like a hurricane,' 'the one that you love,' 'on the road again,' 'narf.'")
Any others I'm not thinking of? I'm sure there are; feel free to add 'em in comments.
