...and this one means business. As of a little after noon, it's been snowing at a very decent clip (the National Weather Service said about 1-2 inches per hour), and it's cold, so it's been sticking quite magnificently. My office closed early (around 1:45), so I was back in Brookline by 2:30 and home-home by 3-ish. We've been hanging in at home, nice and toasty warm, as I got a jump on my Shabbat cooking (home early on Thursday? A rare treat) and [personal profile] mabfan has been doing other stuff around home.

If you're in any of the areas currently dealing with the snow, be safe and keep warm.

To everyone else... Hi! :-)

We've got our six inches of snow and it's still coming down. It's turning heavier and wetter.

I've done bits and pieces of the shovelling, but stopping when I need to. My Michael's oscillating between shovelling and filling orders. As I posted, we got home safely from our shopping trip, and we have pasta with homemade "meat lug" sauce.

As long as the power stays on, we're fine.

Tonight, I think, is a knitty night.

I helped a lost woman at Alewife find her way to Mass Ave, and I swept the front steps and put down sand. I hope that someone else will sweep them again later or shovel, but we'll see. It took me a little longer than usual to get to Alewife from Coolidge Corner, but not as long as I'd feared. I'm home for the night now for sure. I just wish that Greg would get home. He said that he was leaving soon an hour and a half ago, but his 'soon' is not always mine. *wry grin* (ETA: He's home now! Hurray!)

My best to you and [livejournal.com profile] mabfan!
