I received e-mail giving me a code for free shipping from one of the local enablers yarn companies. I don't really *need* any new yarn right now (I have yarn for all of the currently planned projects), but I could always get some for future projects. But I'm on the fence. So... I poll:

Somebody at Arisia said -- and I've found it to be true -- that one can google "[whatever it is you want] free knitting pattern" and have a decent chance of finding one.

clearly you need to knit the dalek a scarf. perhaps then he will get confused, and think he's a doctor, and therefore should not exterminate the doctor.

I've seen the Adipose pattern and the Ood pattern.

I sometimes wonder where people get the time to design these patterns. But then I end up pleased that they have done so. :-)
