-- Noon: Hot and sticky; 86 F (OK, who ordered August in the middle of my May?). Bright and sunshiny.

-- 2:00 PM: Beginning to cloud up. Temperature 81 F.

-- 2:45 PM: Looking threatening out. Temperature hovering around 80 F.

-- 3:15-3:45 PM: Raining like whoa. Contemplate building ark. Temperature still around 80 F.

-- 4:00 PM: Sun peeking out from behind clouds. Temperature ~75 F.

-- 4:30 PM: Bright and sunny, barely a cloud in the sky. Temperature 73 F.

As I said, who ordered *August*?

the weathercaster here referred to it as a "pneumonia front"...saying that's the real name for it, when the temp drops at least 16 degrees in an hour.

here in chicago it was 80 yesterday, and it's 51 today.

Ah, New England. If you don't like the weather, wait a minute. :)

sounds a lot like Scotland -- if you throw in a little hail and gale-force wind :D

Sorry, I've been swamped with work so I took some of the spring days you were shorted on and lumped them together. I hope that was okay.

Similar weather here in Wormtown. Got the first sunburn on my wee nosey when I went out at 12:30 and had to wait half an hour for a downtown bus.

Sun showers at 2pm. Downpours at 3pm.

It's 5:15pm now and still very, very glowery, but it has cooled off. Not out of thunder-danger yet, if my headache is any indication.

Humid here in metro D.C. I picked the wrong afternoon to cut back the bamboo that tends to overrun my backyard.

we were in Providence all day and it was pretty much the same. My hair indicates that the humidity will stay around for at least a few more hours. I am so Sideshow Bob right now.

Yeah, the weather was... interesting. We had some flickering lights at the store, too, but thankfully didn't lose power.

Or as I put it "canned time-lapse footage of a storm old trek uses right before a powerful being tries to kick Kirk's ass."
