Off to Buffycon and Other Stuff

MAB and I are off to New Jersey and New York this weekend. We're leaving tonight and spending the night at MAB's mother's house in New York, and then tomorrow we're headed to New Jersey for Buffycon 1, where we will both be on programming (if you're going to the con, please do find us and say "hi").

On Sunday, instead of being at Buffycon, MAB and I are participating in a memorial service for the 99th anniversary of the General Slocum ferryboat disaster and then a walking tour that afternoon around the Lower East Side neighborhood where the victims of the Slocum disaster lived.

Thanks! And I don't think I'll get to kiss the Stanley Cup, alas. I'll be in Saddlebrook, which is nowhere near (I don't believe) where the Cup is currently residing.
