Adventures in Author Photos

Among the things we did this past Sunday, mabfan and I went out to my parents' to use their back yard as a backdrop for the author photo for I Remember the Future. I took about 10-15 photos, and then we went through them to choose the one we liked best.

In the end, we settled on this one:

However, had there not been one that we liked, it was OK, because we always had this one in reserve:

No Autographs!

Honestly, how awesome a thing is that to have on your to-do list? Hmm, I have to pick up some lemons, and drop off the dry cleaning, and OH YEAH< TAKE MY AUTHOR PHOTO!!!!

And also, Mabfan is just made of cuteness, you know that.

The second shot, I think you should reserve for the collector's edition *grin* and only let the TRUE FANS gaze upon the intimate portrait.

Who the heck is the guy in photo #1? Looks like some random thing you picked up from a stock gallery. I think you should go with #2, and not hide behind a photographic pseudonym.

Yeah, I prefer the second one also. But in the first, if you'd reversed the pins on the lapel, it would be a "10" rather than "01".
