Please to remember that you are wearing your actual glasses today, not your contacts and reading glasses. Removing your glasses when you are on the phone will only lead to your not being able to see *anything*.

Write it down, if necessary. Oh, right. If you write it down and then take off your glasses, you won't be able to read the note.

I have one of those little keeping-climbers-sunglasses-on doobries for keeping mine on a moshpit - if I was closer I'd offer to lend.

I have a couple of sets of them from when I used to sail. Losing my glasses at the bottom of the river was a good wake-up call to get something to hold the glasses on.

Nah... this wasn't me *losing* my glasses, this was me deliberately taking them off, the way I take off my reading glasses when I'm on the phone and I'm wearing my contacts.

And, anyway, I have a number of those from when I sailed as a kid/teenager. After, of course, a pair of my eyeglasses ended up at the bottom of the Charles River. :-)
