Stop it. Just... stop it. Corruption, accepting bribes, conspiring to commit mail and wire fraud... that's not why we elected you.

While on the whole I agree with you-do remember that they are innocent until *proven* guilty. Mind, they look pretty damned guilty already...but not yet proven so.

(Also-this is another argument for more people getting into politics, IMO. I'm still idealistic enough to believe that the majority of people are not corrupt. This may be naive, I know.)

But I think it's kinda a tradition in politics... Pr'aps it's why I'm so cynical about becoming elected to anything outside of the local town meeting/selectbeing. Then again, I do have opinions and disabilities that are somewhat, shall we say, outside the norm? *heh*

1. Ah, you're just bitter cuz they're not YOUR bribes they're accepting.
2. If y'all'd just elect me I'd shoot 'em all, jail all the reporters, and start up a "benevolent" dictatorship. Hey, there'd be extrajudicial executions, but I wouldn't take any bribes!
