...the Boston Globe advises readers on how to build an ark.

I am, oddly, reminded of the winter of 1993/1994, during which the Globe measured the accumulated snowfall in percentage of height of Robert Parish (who is 7' 1" (2.16 m)). At the end of that same winter, the Globe ran a graphic showing the perceived depth of some of the resulting pot holes, again measured in percentage of height of Robert Parish.

I remember that winter! Towards the end, they depicted Parish wearing a snorkel, as the height of the total snowfall went above his nose (and eventually above his head).
