It depends: do you have a collection of pudding recipies, of which this is one?

In that case, "P" for pudding; you have a pudding category, and then alphabetize within the category.

Or, do you have a collection of chocolate recipes, of which this is one?

Pudding is best homemade! All pudding, all the time!

The world needs a pudding slogan!

Chocolate Pudding should be filed as many ways as you can think of, as you don't want to lose any opportunities to say to yourself, "Aha! That pudding sounds like a great idea; I could make that!"

The recipe card for home made chocolate pudding should be filed in the paper recycling bin.

It's that whole "dairy products are evil to me" thing, you see.

I can't believe I am about to admit this, but... pudding need not be dairy...

Yeah, I've been making dairy parve lately using hazelnut milk instead but it just does not get as ... something.

Though I think bread pudding should be filed under |B|, since is it so distinct from the smooth yummy cornstarch kind (and though this message makes it sound like I don't like bread pudding, nothing could be further from the truth).

Bread pudding was the one dessert I never tired of when I was in culinary school, and also later when I was in charge of a bakery café. I had MONTHS where I didn't want to touch chocolate, but bread pudding always worked.

You should have added "black" just to see how many people would check that.

I'm torn on this topic because when I check the two major sources of pudding alphabetization, I find two different answers, thus:

Black Pudding1
Pudding, Deadly2

1Gygax, Gary, Monster Manual, TSR, 1977, p.10.
2Gygax, Gary, Monster Manual II, TSR, 1983, p.102.

Both C and P, for pedantry/completeness

Actually, it should read Both C and P, for Completeness/Pedantry.
