I think I forgot to mention I was *going* to Readercon, but now I am back. However, I haven't read LJ since Friday at about noon, so please let me know if there is anything I need to see.

Readercon was fun, and it was good to see people; if you were there and I missed seeing you, I'm sorry to have missed you.

You didn't miss us, because we knew you wouldn't be there on Thursday, which was the only day we went.

My one-day con report is up at [livejournal.com profile] booksbynight and on Wordpress.

Sounds like you had a good nibble at Readercon. We went last year on Thursday night and had an excellent time.

Wot's readercon?

Readercon is the Boston-area (held for many years now in Burlington, MA) science fiction convention focused entirely on the written word. Their programming is all book- and magazine-related, and their dealer's room is called the Book Shop because everyone there is selling either books or other printed materials.

This year was Readercon 20. [personal profile] mabfan and I have been going since Readercon 6 (I believe), having only missed one in the years since then. It's a fun convention, more sedate than some of the other local conventions but fun for different reasons.

Interesting indeed. Good thing you got some photos beforehand.

Yes. That would have been sad.
