mabfan is out at Town Meeting.
gnomi is home with Muffin and Squeaker. The phone begins to ring, and
gnomi gets up to leave the room. Muffin and Squeaker, considering themselves abandoned, begin to shriek. Upon answering the phone,
gnomi determines it is a telemarketing call and starts heading back to the continuously shrieking Muffin and Squeaker.
Telemarketer lady: I'm calling with a brief survey...
gnomi: I'm sorry, this isn't a good...
TL: Oh, I can hear. I'm sorry; we'll call another time.
gnomi, apologetic for the backround noise: I have ten-month-old twins.
TL: I understand. Have a good night.
And then we hung up.
