Today, Muffin and Squeaker turn one.
It's been an amazing year. They are now so interactive, so full of personality. We've truly been blessed, and we're looking forward to seeing who they become as they get older.
Because we are currently observing the Three Weeks, and tomorrow is Tisha B'Av, we will not be doing a public celebration of their birthday until Sunday. Anyone reading this who wishes to attend that celebration can let us know; the plan is to serve snacks and cake from about noon to 2 pm.
So as to not completely miss the actual birthday, tonight we will be having Ring Dings for dessert (a Pearlman family tradition for the birthday-day observance), and the girls will have chocolate for the first time.
