Summertime...and the Rambly Bits are easy
Jun. 21st, 2004 03:50 pmSo, some Rambly Bits that have been bouncing around in my brain:
-- Yesterday was the day of the annual Brookline (MA) Flag Day parade. MAB marched (with the Library Trustees); I watched and took photos. If any come out good enough, I'll scan and post them.
-- Related to the above - I saw a number of marching bands yesterday. It reminded me just how much I love marching-band music. Which shouldn't be too surprising, given that my dad played both trumpet and Sousaphone in high school.
-- On Friday, I went to MIT to participate in a study. The did an MEG as I responded to words flashing on a computer screen. It was much fun (yes, fun. I'd been warned it might be boring, but I actually found it all quite fascinating).
-- Virtual hugs to all of you. I appreciate each and every one of you, and I sometimes fear I don't say so nearly enough.
