I occasionally sew or knit stuffed animals, and I was in desperate need of a source of eyes. Finally, after much searching, I came across a place (ArtCove.com) that sold them, and I bought some. However, turns out that I bought one pack of eyes that's way too small for any of the projects I foresee doing, and ArtCove has a no-returns policy. I therefore have 100 6-mm brown animal eyes (with posts and washers) that I'm not going to need. I paid $5.39 for the 100 eyes, and I'm happy to sell 'em to anyone who wants 'em for the same price (the shipping would be negligible, so I'm not gonna charge that).

Any takers?

I was all set to comment "Talk to gnomi, she uses eyes!" and then I realised that you are gnomi, and these are excess eyes.

If you don't find another taker by Sunday, bring them to sewing circle and see if someone there wants them.

Are they solid plastic eyes, or googly eyes? Are they the sort that must be glued on, or is there some other way of attaching them? I may be able to use them... I'll make a handbag and matching hat with eyes all over them. But if I glued them I'd be afraid they'd just fall off.

They're solid plastic eyes, and they're the post-and-washer type (meaning the eye is on a post that goes through the work and are fastened on the back with a washer) -- no glue required. This (http://www.artcove.com/Eyes/Aneyenose/anmleyes.JPG) is what they're like.

The post-and-washer sounds a little bulky for my work. Come to think of it, brown isn't a color I use much. I think I'd better repress my packrat instinct and not acquire these eyes. Sorry.
